What is a podcast?
A podcast is similar to a mini-radio show you can listen to whenever you want. Every week, Grace’s weekly sermon podcast will automatically download to your computer and appear in iTunes ready for listening.
Do I need an iPod?
No, you don’t need an iPod to subscribe to the podcast. You can move the audio file to any portable MP3 player, or just listen to it on your computer.
What do I need to get started?
You’ll need a program to download the podcast. We recommend iTunes, which can be downloaded for free at Apple.com.
Is there any cost?
No, subscribing to Grace Messages is free and you also do not need to have an “iTunes subscription” to download, install and begin receiving the sermon each week.
Can I still download sermons from the website?
Yes! All Grace sermons can still be found here and downloaded for free whenever you’d like. Podcasting is just a way to skip the downloading process and receive the sermons automatically.
What happens once I’m subscribed?
Every time you open iTunes, the program will detect whether or not there is a new podcast and download it to your computer. It’s that easy!
Note: Only one of the sermons preached on Sunday will be available for podcasting. It will normally be available sometime Monday morning.
How to subscribe
If you are an iTunes user, follow these steps:
- Click on the “Advanced” button on the iTunes menu bar.
- Click “Subscribe to Podcast…”
- Copy and Past the the Grace Messages feed link (below) into the window that pops up and click “OK”.
