A love for Jesus Christ and an ardent desire to see Him glorified in inner-city Greensboro were the impetus for the founding of this interdenominational body of believers. We are striving to bring together God’s people from all walks of life that each might minister to the other according to their gifts and abilities. Our highest aim is that we might together demonstrate the reality of Christ as we are made one.

Grace Community Church was organized during the summer of 1987 by a group of friends. We began Sunday evening worship services August 1, 1987. In February of 1988, we moved into the United Way community center on Arlington Street. Our present facility, the old McIver School, became home for our body in July of 1995.
While all of our ministries here at Grace Community Church are for the purpose of helping us grow in our love for God and for each other, we believe Small Groups of believers provide the best environment for relationships and life transformation to occur. If you are interested in knowing more about our Small Group ministry, please contact the church office.
Worship at Grace is contemporary at both services. Dress is casual. Click here to listen to a recent service.
