New Stephen Ministry training begins Sept. 2nd

Are you a good listener? Would you like to minister to people who are grieving or walking down a difficult road? You might want to consider becoming a Stephen Minister. Stephen Ministers go through 20 weeks of training, commit to meet after their training with other Stephen Ministers once a month for supervision and continuing education and are available to meet with a care receiver once a week for an hour. If you are interested, please respond to jvanveen@gracecommunitychurch.org. The training will begin on September 2 from 7pm-9pm. You will need to fill out an application and meet with Jill before the first training.
