4th of July Block Party at Grimsley

Fourth of July Community Block Party on the lawn at Grimsley High School, sponsored by Gate City Vineyard and nine other area churches, Wednesday, July 4, 2007, from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Free hot dogs, free drinks, live music, dancers, clowns, face painting and lots more. (Map of Grimsley location — 801 Westover Terrace in Greensboro.)

Followed by Pops Concert & Fireworks Spectacular, sponsored by the News & Record, featuring the Greensboro Philharmonia, from 7:30 - 10:00 p.m. in the Grimsley High School Stadium.

Fireworks schedule:

7:30-8:30pm — Greensboro Philharmonia
8:30pm — Independence Day Ceremonies
9:20pm — 1812 Overture
9:30pm — Fireworks with Patriotic Music

Please note: The church offices will be closed on July 4th. But we will still host our friends from the community at our regularly scheduled Wednesday Community Dinner in the Sanctuary at Grace at 5:30 p.m. on July 4th. Have a safe and blessed holiday!
